We’re taking dramatic steps in the right direction to reduce our carbon footprint. For example, by combining shipments, planning transportation routes responsibly and using our own fleet, we’re conserving fuel and using less packing materials.
As more manufacturers outsource their products overseas, American jobs are lost. It is our initiative to buy American whenever feasibly possible. Further, our remanufacturing, recycling & shipping programs create & preserve positions for skilled repair & final prep technicians, drivers and managers, thus keeping jobs on our soil.
When we need to utilize a commercial carrier, we reuse & recycle our cardboard boxes and pack our products with material made of vegetable starch. These packing “peanuts” are water-soluble, compostable and come to us in large recycled bags. And when office supplies are needed, we first seek vendors that are also “green” and use recycled materials & eco-friendly practices & standards.
